Machine Operator

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay: $20 - $22 (+$3 shift differential)

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM; hours may vary)

OT as required by business needs

Position Summary

We are seeking a Machine Operator to support production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating glass-edging machinery, inspecting product quality, and ensuring production efficiency while maintaining safety standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

Operate single-side straight-line glass edging machine to polish glass/mirror edges

Inspect products for defects and report abnormalities to supervisor

Read and follow work instructions, labels, and picking lists

Maintain production flow and meet daily output goals

Follow all safety procedures and quality standards

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with CNC, CMS, hand fabrication, or polish machines preferred but not required

Prior experience in a manufacturing/production environment

Ability to read a tape measure

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment

Lift up to 75 lbs independently and 150 lbs with assistance

Push/pull materials over 150 lbs with a team

Stand for extended periods
