About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Ahmadi, Kuwait, supporting the Kuwait Environmental Remediation Program (KERP).
You will play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale environmental restoration initiatives. With millions of square meters of contaminated land successfully remediated, this project represents a globally significant effort in sustainable environmental recovery.

What you'll do
Project Leadership & Delivery
Lead the overall management, coordination, and supervision of assigned remediation projects.
Oversee budget development, cost control, and quality assurance to ensure successful project delivery.
Manage engineering, procurement, and construction contractors on behalf of the Client.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual obligations.
Develop and implement the soil remediation strategy for assigned areas, including contracting and execution approaches.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary technical interface with the Client.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are consistently met.
Proactively resolve scope, schedule, and performance issues.
HSE (Health, Safety & Environment)
Champion a strong HSE culture across all project phases.
Ensure OHSE requirements are embedded within design, procurement, and execution.
Scope & Contract Management
Ensure compliance with the Worley Project Management Plan (WPMP) and contract requirements.
Implement robust change control processes.
Support claims mitigation and management strategies.
Cost & Value Management
Monitor project costs and forecast outcomes, taking proactive measures to prevent overruns.
Promote Value Improving Practices (VIPs) to optimize capital efficiency.
Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to Worley systems, policies, and procedures.
Maintain strong oversight of engineering deliverables and quality standards.
Team Leadership
Lead and motivate multi-disciplinary and global teams.
Drive achievement of milestones and key project objectives.
What you'll have
Education: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university
Experience:
Minimum 15 years total experience
Minimum 5 years in oil & gas / refinery / petrochemical industries
Minimum 5 years in a similar Project Engineering / Construction Management role
Proven experience:
Managing multi-disciplinary construction projects
Acting as deputy to a Projects Manager
Delivering complex environmental/remediation projects
Demonstrated expertise in:
Soil remediation technologies and execution strategies
Engineering and construction management across full project lifecycle
Preferred Experience
Experience in PMC (Project Management Consultancy) environments
Middle East project experience (highly desirable)
