Job Summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to lead the development and implementation of custom Salesforce solutions. This role involves managing development projects, guiding technical teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable Salesforce applications. The successful candidate will leverage expertise in APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce automation tools to meet business objectives, improve processes, and support digital transformation initiatives.

Software Requirements

Required Software Proficiency:

APEX programming language — proven experience in developing robust, scalable Salesforce logic and custom solutions

Lightning Web Components (LWC) — extensive experience in building modern, interactive UI components

Salesforce Triggers, Classes, and Batch Jobs — deep knowledge of automating processes and managing data operations

Salesforce Process Automation Tools: Flows, Workflow, Process Builder, Approval Processes, and Email Templates — strong hands-on experience in workflow automation

Salesforce Mobile and Experience Cloud — expertise in configuring and deploying customer-facing portals and mobile interfaces

Version Control: Git — experience managing code repositories and controlling deployment across environments

Preferred Software Skills:

Salesforce DX and Deployment Tools — experience with modern DevOps practices for Salesforce development

Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) — familiarity with consistent UI/UX standards

Integration tools: REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft — knowledge in integrating Salesforce with other business systems

Overall Responsibilities

Lead and oversee Salesforce development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards

Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions using APEX, Lightning Web Components, and automation tools

Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and external teams to understand requirements and develop technical solutions

Perform code reviews, enforce best coding practices, and maintain high standards for code quality and maintainability

Manage Salesforce environments, deployments, and integrations, ensuring smooth data flows and system performance

Optimize and troubleshoot existing Salesforce solutions, identifying opportunities for process improvement

Develop technical documentation, including design specifications, data flows, and user guides

Stay updated with Salesforce platform innovations, release notes, and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team

Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming Languages:

Essential: APEX, Lightning Web Components — proficiency in developing Salesforce custom logic and user interfaces

Preferred: JavaScript, HTML, CSS — for enhancing UI and client-side scripting

Databases/Data Management:

Experience working with Salesforce Data Model, Data Loader, and Data Management tools

Cloud Technologies:

Salesforce platform deployment, configuration, and integration with external cloud services

Frameworks & Libraries:

Extensive experience in APEX, Lightning Web Components, and automation tools within Salesforce environments

Experience working with Salesforce integrations, APIs, and external data sources

Familiarity with Salesforce deployment and release management best practices

Day-to-Day Activities

Develop, customize, and optimize Salesforce applications using APEX and Lightning Web Components

Collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and user interfaces

Conduct code reviews, optimize code performance, and maintain development standards

Manage Salesforce environments, perform deployments, and troubleshoot integration issues

Provide technical guidance to junior developers and support team members in solving complex cases

Document system configurations, data models, and technical processes

Stay informed on Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry best practices, sharing insights with the team

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields; Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II are preferred

5+ years of Salesforce development experience across multiple projects

Proven track record of delivering scalable, enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions

Experience leading or managing Salesforce technical teams or projects is advantageous
