Litigation Associate

Based in New York, NY, we are a sophisticated and dynamic law firm known for its client-focused approach collaborative culture and commitment to delivering practical results. The litigation team is expanding and seeking an experienced Litigation Associate to join a growing team handling complex commercial litigation matters across a broad range of industries. This role is ideal for a seasoned litigator who values direct client exposure meaningful courtroom experience and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment. This position offers a competitive base salary of $230,000–$360,000 plus comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

Handle sophisticated commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution including drafting pleadings motions briefs discovery responses and legal correspondence with accuracy and efficiency

Conduct legal research and assist in developing litigation strategy while managing discovery depositions court appearances mediations and settlement negotiations

Assist with trial preparation including witness preparation exhibit management and motion practice while maintaining strong client communication throughout each matter

Work closely with partners and clients on high-impact litigation matters while independently managing deadlines and contributing to a collaborative team-oriented environment

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school with active New York Bar admission in good standing; strong academic credentials required

3+ years of sophisticated commercial litigation experience with excellent oral and written communication skills and strong analytical research and advocacy abilities

Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment

Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team with a commitment to delivering high-quality client service and professional excellence
