Job Summary
My Valuable Business (MVB) is seeking a highly organized, proactive Executive Assistant to support our CEO. This role is critical to keeping the executive focused, organized, and moving forward-managing competing priorities, tracking action items, and ensuring consistent follow-through. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment where ideas move quickly and priorities can evolve. You are detail-oriented, confident asking clarifying questions, and comfortable bringing structure to complexity. This is a contract/1099 based role. Requirements:
Manage and maintain the executive's calendar across multiple businesses and client engagements
Track follow-ups, action items, deadlines, and commitments to ensure accountability
Prepare for meetings, take notes as needed, and ensure post-meeting next steps are completed
Help organize and prioritize incoming ideas, requests, and projects
Assess urgency and timing of tasks (e.g., immediate action vs. future planning)
Monitor email communications and assist with drafting, organizing, and responding as appropriate
Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Maintain organized systems for documents, workflows, and information
Communicate proactively and consistently with the CEO and internal team members
Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Skills Needed
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or administrative professional supporting senior leadership (CEO, CFO, Founder, or similar)
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong follow-through and accountability; able to independently track work to completion
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfort working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities
Ability to think critically, ask clarifying questions, and provide constructive feedback
High level of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard business tools (calendar, email, document management)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Must pass a criminal background check
