Job Description
This role is heavily focused on Oracle PL/SQL backend development, .NET technologies, and production application support for operational systems that are critical during storm and outage seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise backend applications
• Develop and support Oracle PL/SQL objects including stored procedures, packages, triggers, functions, and query optimization
• Provide production support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for critical applications
• Participate in deployments, release rollouts, maintenance activities, and after-hours support as needed
• Develop and maintain .NET applications, APIs, and Web Services integrations
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, DBAs, Security, Operations, and business teams
• Perform system testing, performance tuning, failover testing, and deployment validations
• Prepare technical documentation and change management artifacts
• Support disaster recovery activities and production environment stability
Required Skills:
Experience Required:
• Level II: 5–6 Years
• Level III: 6–10+ Years
• Strong Oracle PL/SQL development experience
• Strong backend development experience using C#/.NET technologies
• Experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST, WCF)
• Experience supporting production enterprise applications
• Strong SQL troubleshooting and database optimization skills
• Experience with Visual Studio, Git/TFS/Bitbucket, and SDLC methodologies
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in high-pressure support environments
Preferred Skills:
• Linux experience
• Utility, Energy, Oil & Gas, or Operations domain experience
• Experience with Service Suite or Work Order Management systems
• Experience with ASP.NET, XML, MS SQL Server
• Exposure to SOA and enterprise integrations
