Maintenance Manager

Job Description

Our customer in Elkhart, IN is looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all maintenance operations for a manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment uptime and operational efficiency

Manage preventative maintenance schedules, work orders, vendor relationships, and maintenance budgeting

Supervise and support a tenured maintenance team while driving accountability and responsiveness

Partner with production leadership to prioritize repairs, equipment improvements, and downtime reduction efforts

Oversee maintenance activities for industrial manufacturing equipment, dust collection systems, and facility infrastructure

Required Skills / Experience

Previous maintenance leadership experience within a manufacturing environment

Strong background in preventative maintenance planning, scheduling, and CMMS systems

Experience managing maintenance budgets, outside contractors, and vendor relationships

Working knowledge of industrial equipment, electrical/mechanical systems, and troubleshooting processes

Ability to lead veteran maintenance teams and operate effectively in a fast-paced production environment
