Job Title: Textile Designer Department: Design & Sampling Job Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are seeking a highly creative and efficient Textile Designer to drive our new product development cycle.

The core objective of this role is to continuously conceptualize and finalize fresh, market-ready printed textile designs, ensuring our collections remain dynamic, competitive, and ahead of market trends.

You will be the creative engine that prevents product monotony and directly fuels our business growth.

Key Responsibilities: - Trend Sourcing & Analysis: Actively research and identify emerging textile trends, translating ethnic art forms and digital inspiration into localized, fabric-appropriate design concepts.

- Concept Drafting: Rapidly create rough design concepts and motifs using sketching materials or digital software.

- Digital File Preparation: Develop high-fidelity, production-ready digital files using Adobe Photoshop and other software.

You must utilize layered files to efficiently display multiple colorways and expedite the review process.

- Collaborative Development: Present multiple draft variations to management, actively discuss creative directions, and incorporate feedback to refine chosen drafts into finalized concepts.

- Production Handoff: Ensure all finalized designs are structurally sound for printing (e.g., repeatable patterns, seamless borders) before handing them over to the Sampling Personnel for physical color matching and screen preparation.

- Focus & Output: Maintain a continuous pipeline of creative creation, operating independently of factory floor troubleshooting or sales tasks to ensure design momentum never stalls.

Required Skills & Qualifications: - Software Proficiency: Advanced, highly proficient skills in Adobe Photoshop (or equivalent textile design software), specifically in creating layered, repeatable patterns.

- Creative Translation: Strong illustrative skills with the ability to take abstract mood boards or online inspiration and turn them into tangible, printable textile drafts.

- Textile Knowledge: A solid understanding of textile aesthetics, specifically regarding how digital designs translate to physical print on fabrics like silk, cotton, and linen.

- Receptiveness to Feedback: Ability to analyze constructive feedback on rejected designs and pivot quickly to generate new, alternative concepts without over-editing dead drafts.

- Communication: Excellent verbal skills to effectively pitch concepts and discuss creative direction with management stakeholders.

Performance Metrics: - Success in this role is measured by the speed of the design cycle (from rough draft to final approval) and the consistent introduction of new, commercially viable designs that expand the brand's catalog.
