Mobile Assessor/Business Development Liaison
Wellstone Regional Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, and the Adult population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is currently searching for Mobile Assessor/Business Development Liaison. The Business Development Liaison/Mobile Assessor provides level of care needs assessments. The position coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff. The position is responsible for maintaining direct communication with the school system they are representing, facilitate transportation as needed and coordinate discharge planning; specifically working with the school system to coordinate the return to school. Works with facility leadership to improve internal systems and processes. The Business Development Liaison/Mobile Assessor is directly responsible for creating demand for the facility's services through the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods. In collaboration with the Business Development Director, the employee presents a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community. The Business Development Liaison/Mobile Assessor is responsible for implementing the facilities strategic sales plan, enhancing the facilities brand/image, effectively managing their assigned school system and accounts. The role requires the ability to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication in a fast-paced environment. Hours are based on the departmental and facility needs and may include day, evening, and weekend hours, as directed by the Director of Business Development.
Qualifications
Education: Master's Degree required. Experience: 1-3 related experience, with knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques with understanding of mental illness, required. 3-5 years preferred. Licensure: Active Driver's License; Independent Licensure preferred (LMSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LPE, RN.) Additional Requirements: May be required to work flexible hours when needed; 75% travel (local and regional.) Days shift hours primarily, other times as indicated by immediate supervisor. Must have some flexibility.
