A growing commercial services company that is expanding rapidly across multiple markets is looking to add a Business Development Manager.
This is a true new business role focused on building a book of commercial clients. If you are someone who thrives on prospecting, opening doors, and closing contract-based business, this is worth a look.
What You’ll Do
Generate new business through outbound prospecting and territory development
Sell contracted services to commercial clients
Build and manage your own pipeline from first touch through close
Conduct meetings, site visits, and presentations with decision-makers
Close new accounts and transition them to account management
This is a pure sales role. Once you close the business, it is handed off so you can stay focused on new opportunities.
Compensation
Base salary typically in the $80K–$100K range
Uncapped commission
Strong earnings potential for high performers
What They’re Looking For
Proven experience in outside sales, business development, or account executive roles
Background selling contracts or recurring services into commercial clients
Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and building pipeline
Self-motivated, competitive, and driven by results
Strong backgrounds include
Uniform and facility services
Commercial Landscaping services
Waste and environmental services
Pest control or fire protection
Commercial service sales (janitorial, HVAC, etc.)
