Commissary Kitchen (Bend)

Job Description

Laughing Planet is a locally owned and operated quick-service restaurant company with 11 locations in Oregon. We offer fresh, quality, nutritious food that is affordable and strive to provide a great experience for our guests and staff. We are currently hiring for Commissary Kitchen positions, at our Bend Commissary location.

The ideal candidate:

Be positive and team driven

Have a minimum of 1 year kitchen prep and food production experience

Have basic knife skills

Can ensure the proper preparation and cooking of high quality ingredients in large batch quantities

Ability to work early mornings

Has a sense of urgency

Will read and follow recipes

Knows how to portion ingredients

Can perform basic kitchen math

Can display the ability to operate equipment such as tilt skillets, gas ranges, and ovens safely

Have the ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical maneuvers such as kneeling, squatting and using step stools

Will communicate clearly with team members and management

Maintains a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
