Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Avionics / Electrical Test Technician to perform a variety of complex duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical disciplines supporting aircraft test systems. The ideal candidate brings hands-on aerospace experience and is comfortable constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining mission-critical equipment. This role will focus heavily on setting up wiring and cabling for test systems installed inside aircraft.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, and systems across electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical domains

Set up, route, and terminate wiring and cabling for test systems inside aircraft

Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal work instructions

Operate related test equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed formats

Perform calibration and alignment checks on test systems and components

Make adjustments, modifications, and replacements to equipment as directed

Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions as required for testing and assembly

Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work area

Document test results, discrepancies, and corrective actions accurately

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant experience must be in aerospace

Previous experience in a similar role performing electronic/electrical fabrication and testing

Prior experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment

Demonstrated experience working with, fabricating, and terminating military wiring harnesses and connectors

Technical Skills:

Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics

Previous hands-on soldering experience required

Strong electronic and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Mechanical and general fabrication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience setting up instrumentation and test cabling directly on aircraft

Familiarity with military/aerospace wiring standards and connector specifications

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial direction

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, reliable work
