Warehouse/Shipping/E-Commerce Coordinator

Job Description

Shipping - ensuring all orders are shipped timely. In addition to basic picking and shipping, the following should be a daily activity:

· Review ERP (fulfillment list) and all stores to check for late shipments

· Monitor ERP to “transfer” stock between warehouses to eliminate backorders

· Receiving, as timely as possible, including assigning locations as needed

· Make local deliveries as needed

· Ensure regular cycle counting is being done (by Vendor, and/or location)

· Keep the warehouse clean and organized, free of empty boxes

· Order shipping supplies

· Notify ownership of very slow-moving items and expired items

· Relocating item locations as needed to facilitate efficiency and best use of space.

· Work with office on processing returns (inspection thru crediting)

· Provide Phone coverage, when office doesn’t answer

· Assist the marketing area (including outside sales rep(s))

· Coordinate warehouse employees to ensure your responsibilities are met

· Responsible for warehouse safety, including dock chains, forklift operations, etc.

· Further assist in building sales/profits by taking further responsibility for returns tying to minimize “losses” related to returns.Company Description
