Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Retail Pharmacy Technician role offers an excellent Temp to Perm opportunity in Cincinnati, Ohio. The position supports pharmacy operations during 1st shifts with a focus on providing outstanding service to patients and ensuring efficient processing of prescriptions.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the pharmacist in serving patients and maintaining smooth pharmacy department operations

Greet customers warmly and respond to their inquiries with professionalism

Receive prescriptions, verify their validity, and process them electronically ensuring accuracy

Address issues such as rejected insurance claims promptly and effectively

Select appropriate medications and measure dosages with care to fill prescriptions accurately

Manage medication sorting, stocking, labeling, and inventory monitoring to maintain an organized environment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Pharmacy Technician license for the state of Ohio, required

Previous retail pharmacy or similar experience preferred

Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software highly preferred
