Position Overview

Lake Bluff Inn & Suites is seeking a reliable, hardworking Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is essential in keeping our property clean, safe, and running smoothly for our guests.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and basic repairs

Conduct routine inspections of rooms, common areas, and exterior grounds

Assist with landscaping, lawn care, and general property upkeep

Handle trash removal and daily grounds monitoring (including debris and pet waste)

Help with event setup and breakdown (tables, chairs, tents, outdoor spaces, etc.)

Monitor the property throughout the day to ensure cleanliness and safety

Complete preventative maintenance and respond to maintenance requests

Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Qualifications

Experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs

Ability to work independently and stay organized

Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather

Ability to lift 40+ lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time position (hours vary based on season)

Must be available weekends and holidays during peak season

Competitive pay based on experience

Responsabilidades

Realizar mantenimiento general incluyendo plomería, electricidad y reparaciones básicas

Inspeccionar habitaciones, áreas comunes y exteriores regularmente

Apoyar con jardinería, corte de césped y mantenimiento del terreno

Encargarse de la recolección de basura y supervisión diaria de las áreas exteriores (incluyendo desechos y excremento de mascotas)

Ayudar con el montaje y desmontaje de eventos (mesas, sillas, carpas, áreas exteriores, etc.)

Supervisar la propiedad durante el día para asegurar limpieza y seguridad

Realizar mantenimiento preventivo y responder a solicitudes de reparación

Mantener herramientas y equipos en buen estado

Requisitos

Experiencia en mantenimiento, construcción o área relacionada (preferido)

Conocimientos básicos de plomería, electricidad y reparaciones generales

Capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente y organizada

Persona responsable, puntual y detallista

Disposición para trabajar en interiores y exteriores

Capacidad para levantar más de 40 libras y estar de pie por largos periodos

Horario y Pago

Posición de tiempo completo (horario varía según la temporada)

Disponibilidad para fines de semana y días festivos en temporada alta

Pago competitivo según experiencia

Full-time
