Position Title: Computer Technician

Pay Rate: $18-$20 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

A+ Certification Position Overview:

The Computer Technician is responsible for integrating and configuring various PC hardware, operating system software, and peripherals. This role involves assembling electronic components, installing circuit boards, disk drives, mass storage devices, and additional peripheral equipment. Please note: This is not a desk support position.

Key Responsibilities:

Load operating systems or customer-specific proprietary data systems.

Integrate and configure PC hardware and peripherals.

Assemble electronic components and install circuit boards, disk drives, and mass storage devices.

Troubleshoot and resolve configuration and integration issues involving circuit analysis, waveform calculations, fault isolation, PROM programming, and signal flow tracing.

Diagnose malfunctions and equipment failures, taking appropriate actions based on process requirements.

Complete accurate documentation regarding defective parts, replacements, shipping details, and build process updates. Qualifications & Skills:

At minimum, A+ Certification.

Acquiring fundamental knowledge of job content, best practices, and procedures.

Learning skills necessary to fully perform in this role.

Able to perform routine functions with minimal complexity or variation.

Works under supervision, receiving detailed instructions for tasks.

Follows established priorities and interacts primarily with peers within the assigned work group.

Limited interaction with other departments; impact of decisions is generally confined to assigned tasks.
