Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The Laborer assists in ensuring the facility site is kept clean both during and after projects. Additionally, this position would be responsible for assisting equipment operators at the facility and carrying out any physical activities required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Comply with Eco Material Technologies Safety Policies and Procedures

Operate heavy machinery, including construction vehicles

Perform set-up and clean-up tasks at job site; includes sweeping, shoveling, raking and cleaning equipment using a pressure washer

Perform general maintenance of construction equipment

Assist in loading and unload of equipment and materials

Spotting for equipment operators

Provide labor support as needed

Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle

Comfortable working in high stress environment with extreme weather conditions

Ability to climb ladders and navigate heights

Lift heavy loads up to 50 pounds and navigate construction job site terrain

Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The employee should have the following:

The employee should possess the ability to:

Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable

Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out

Prolong standing or in stationary position

Complete repetitive movements

Bend and/or twist

Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds

Ability to move or traverse about the facilities

Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions

Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection)

RESUMEN DE TRABAJO

El Obrero ayuda a garantizar que el sitio de la instalación se mantenga limpio tanto durante como después de los proyectos. Además, este puesto sería responsable de ayudar a los operadores de equipos en la instalación y llevar a cabo cualquier actividad física requerida.

FUNCIONES ESENCIALES:

Cumplir con las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad de Eco Material Technologies

Levantar cargas pesadas de hasta 50 libras y navegar por el terreno del sitio de trabajo de construcción

Operar maquinaria pesada, incluidos vehículos de construcción

Realizar tareas de preparación y limpieza en el lugar de trabajo; incluye equipos barredores, con pala, de rastrillaje y limpieza con una hidrolavadora

Brindar apoyo la Eco Material Technologies según sea necesario

Realizar mantenimiento general de equipos de construcción

Asistir en la carga y descarga de equipos y materiales

Avistamiento para operadores de equipos

Tener una asistencia regular, puntualidad y flexibilidad de horario

CONOCIMIENTOS, HABILIDADES Y CAPACIDADES

Capacidad para operar un vehículo de transmisión manual

Comodidad trabajando en un entorno de alto estrés con condiciones climáticas extremas

Capacidad para subir escaleras y trepar hacia altura

Comprensión básica de los principios y procedimientos de construcción

EDUCACIÓN Y/O EXPERIENCIA
