DISTRIBUTION CENTER: REACH TRUCK OPERATOR 1st SHIFT - SEASONAL

School Health Corporation is the leading provider of medical supplies to schools, universities, and sports teams nationwide. Our family-owned business has a need to bring on seasonal employees during the summer months for warehouse workers, in our clean facility.

We are currently hiring Seasonal Reach Truck Operators for our Receiving Department. In this role, you will be responsible for putting away incoming product and replenishing primary pick locations within the warehouse.

This is a seasonal position expected to run through mid-September.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Overtime: Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required

Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Candidates must have prior reach truck experience and be able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include:

Put away product to overstock locations and replenish primary pick locations using a deep reach truck or order picker/selector and hand-held RF scanner

May also be required to:

Offload LTL shipments using dock stocker or electric pallet jack

Receive and sign for shipments - inspect cartons for damage, verify quantities

Process purchase orders - verify product information and quantity; use hand-held RF scanner to receive into warehouse management system

Must be willing to help in other departments/functions as needed

Basic Requirements:

Reach truck or order picker/selector forklift experience required

Ability to work Monday-Friday (or Saturday) some weekends will be required based on business needs; flexible schedules are available

Prior experience operating warehouse equipment

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse environment throughout seasonal temperature variations

Use of proper safety procedures to ensure workplace safety
