Position: Paralegal for Family Law Firm We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Paralegal to join our family law firm. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting, research, case management, and calendar management. This is a long-term position with a high volume of cases, so we are looking for someone who is dedicated and committed to their work. Responsibilities: - Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence - Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases - Manage case files and maintain organized and accurate records - Assist attorneys with case preparation and management - Communicate with clients, court personnel, and other professionals involved in cases - Maintain calendars and schedule appointments and court dates - Prepare and file court documents and other legal forms - Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the attorneys and firm operations Requirements: - Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited program - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a family law firm - Strong knowledge of family law and legal procedures - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents - Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines - Familiarity with case management software and Microsoft Office - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Professional demeanor and strong work ethic We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm.
