Product Group Manager

The Product Group Manager develops and implements the strategic direction, which integrates with corporate strategy, for a product group or geographic region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for owning and executing product initiatives across SMB and Enterprise payment solutions within Huntington's Merchant Services portfolio

Partners closely with the Product Director to translate strategy into delivery, ensuring payment products are intuitive for small businesses while scalable and configurable for enterprise clients.

Balance customer experience, operational excellence, risk awareness, and commercial outcomes, working cross-functionally to deliver compliant, reliable, and growth-oriented payment capabilities

Formulates and implements marketing and communications programs to promote products and services to customers and to support bank officers.

Identifies and sets priorities for product development/modifications, pricing and product positioning to encourage client adoption while maintaining profitability

Maintains contact with clients, sales professionals, marketing areas, product managers and other bank personnel.

Manages product group or geographic region's profitability and quality standards.

May manage a diverse group of marketing, sales and/or product development professionals as well as an administrative and technical staff.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

7+ years of product management experience, preferably within payments, digital services, or technology platforms

Bachelor's Degree

3+ Years Experience working in Agile development environments and cross-functional delivery teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree

Experience with and a strong understanding of Small Business banking, payroll solutions, merchant payments, payment gateways, AR/AP solutions, and digital acceptance platforms.

Experience supporting both SMB and Enterprise client needs within a single product portfolio.

Proven analytical ability (data mining/manipulation, forecasting)

Must have the appropriate financial management experience and analytical capability to translate hard data into strategic plans

Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and execute flawlessly

Experience in project planning and management, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Excellent skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Candid and concise communication skills

Excellent executive-level presentation skills

Must be savvy and passionate about driving results and innovation

Compensation Range: $93,000 - $189,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
