Ministry: Central Ohio Area

Ministry Site: WellSpring Counseling

Position Summary: Supervisor: WellSpring Clinical Director

Goal: To advance the mission and vision of Central Ohio Youth for Christ and WellSpring Counseling through serving a full clinical caseload, supervising clinicians, and developing equipping materials

Key Objectives:

Responsible to maintain a full caseload of clients

Responsible to fulfill administrative counseling responsibilities

Responsible for other COYFC and WellSpring staff duties

Responsible to fulfill COYFC Spiritual Responsibilities

Specific Duties:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Maintain Full Caseload of Clients:

Maintain caseload of 20-30 sessions per week

Maintain minimum of 15 paid sessions per week

Fulfill Administrative Counseling Responsibilities:

Complete session case notes in a timely manner

Complete case plans, progress notes, termination notes as outlined in the WellSpring policy manual

Maintain licensure status and progress toward supervision designation

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Meet with supervisees either weekly or 1:20 ratio.

Complete supervision log monthly and turn into Clinical Director

Attend monthly supervisory meeting and complete any given assignments

Prepare training for staff development at least once a year

Review and sign off on supervisee notes in a timely manner

Other Staff Responsibilities:

Support Leadership Development training efforts as available

Attend COYFC All-Staff and WellSpring Counseling staff meetings

Support Development fundraising efforts by inviting 4 new attendees per year to See the Story tours and/or Be the Story

Develop CEU training for COYFC and WellSpring staff in area of clinical competence

Organize and implement peer supervision groups

Provide WellSpring technical support as needed

COYFC Spiritual Responsibilities:

Because the overriding religious purpose and mission of Youth for Christ USA is to communicate and introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and their families, and in that regard to make, educate and encourage life-long disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is very important that you as an employee in the movement of Youth for Christ be recognized as an associate minister of the Gospel.

Provide wisdom and discernment, based on the Bible, for clinicians who share Christian material and resources with clients
