Manufacturing Manager
Vertiv is seeking a manufacturing manager with experience in product lifecycle management, engineering documentation, and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing principles, project management, and supplier management. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining manufacturing documentation, supporting plant-to-plant transfers, and tracking project progress.
Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time Investment Needed on Each:
Manage Global Supply Chain, including India, China, Mexico and Europe
Knowledge EOL / NPD, Gate Stages for New Product. + Engineering BOM & Drawings. Understand Engineering drawings, Oracle systems, Bill of Materials
Tracking of Project - Knowledge of Project Tools, Mapping & execution
Assist in the development and release of standardized manufacturing documentation such as workmanship standards, work instructions, drawings, and BOMs.
Development of New Supplier & auditing
Knowledge of Imports & Shipment Terms, Customs Clearance.
Hand-on Experience on Supplier Management, Material Ordering, Tracking
Adhere to established manufacturing procedures and provide direct support for plant-to-plant product transfers and new product development programs, to support Vertiv manufacturing operations using various tools.
Track & Report generations of Project status - BI / Discover.
Advance Material Planning key processes.
Qualifications: Required/ Minimum Qualifications:
Experience: 8-10 Yrs
Education – B.S Supply Chain/Supply Chain Management/or Related
English language – fluent
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
PC working knowledge (MS Office, PowerBi, Snowflake)
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization and Internationally.
Material Requirements Planning proficiency (ERP/MRP software)
Time Travel Needed: 20% - International travel may be required
