Custodial Services Position

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority manages and operates passenger-focused John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), cargo-focused Rickenbacker International Airport (LCK), and general aviation airport Bolton Field (TZR).

Your "take off" will be successful by doing the following with excellence:

Sweep, mop, vacuum, wax, and scrubs floors; wash ceilings and walls

Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, displays and fixtures

Empty trash receptacles and replenish washroom supplies

Wash windows

Pick up litter (inside and outside) as necessary

Shovel snow on occasion

Maintain carpet throughout terminal

Responsible for deep cycle cleaning and operate equipment associated with all aspects of the cleaning process

Your "landing" will be smooth if you meet the following requirements:

Have a high school diploma or GED

Are 18 years of age or older

Able to stand for extended time periods, walk long distances and lift up to 50 lbs.

Possess a valid Ohio driver's license, in good standing

Have a basic knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in custodial work and an understanding of related safety and OSHA requirements

Able to work 3rd shift, 11:00pm - 7:00am (overnight shift)

Pay rate: $22.00/hour plus shift differential

Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, which includes testing for marijuana (medical marijuana cards are not acceptable)
