Job Title: Python Developer

Duration: ~24 months projects

Job location: Hybrid in Plano, McLean, Richmond (Need locals only)

Chance for extension/conversion – candidates must be able to convert – state this on resume

SRE/Site Reliability Engineering experience is a strong plus but writing solid code is the main key

Interview process – 1 hour – it will likely include a coding test

Key required skills:

Python or Golang (Python slightly preferred)

AWS (Serverless - Lambda or Fargate, ECS)

GIT

Database – DynamoDB most critical, others include Aurora, PostGreSQL, MySQL, DocumentDB, Oracle, SQL Server – able to write runbooks for recovery exercises is possible

Agile/Jira

Splunk and/or New Relic

Full Stack is a plus but they won’t be doing any pure FE work

Responsible for chaos engineering. Main focus is building tools for reliability engineering. Lots of governance/process and documentation. Doing disaster recovery testing of critical applications – also build internal tools to support that mission. This role will help with critical client integrations. Tasked to build a latency speed injection – database experiment. Developing Rest API's
