Position: W2

Responsibilities:

They should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience building integrations in the Hadoop environment.

This developer will be working on numerous data integrations that move the data from Kafka environment into the Data Lake.

They should be familiar with tools like Spark, Python, Nifi, and other tools used in the data lake environment to do their work effectively – there are many that are Cloudera/Hortonworks auxiliary tools and others that are open source which we use.

They should understand the best practices and standards to making an integration stable and reliable, such as adding monitoring or other checks and balances.

They should be able to create documentation for their work that will be left as an artifact.

They should be self-sufficient to take on work and be independent and able to contribute ideas to their work and their team’s objectives.

They should be able to communicate well such as their status and issues to management.

They should communicate any needs ahead of time for major time off other than a day here and there prior to taking engagement so that can be taken into consideration as we have critical milestones we are trying to achieve
