Radar Sensor Systems Integrated Test Team Test Lead

As an Integrated Test Team (ITT) Test Lead you're responsible for System Integration Location (SIL) integration and acceptance testing of the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) in one of the two Forest Mississippi RF test ranges.
Responsibilities will include the following:
Oversight of all production SIL execution efforts comprised of system integration, system acceptance test and sell-off to the customer.
Implementation of failure tracking/resolution, data trend analysis, test optimization, test time reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor junior test engineers and technicians on SIL execution and career development.
Work closely with the ITT SIL Manager and other AAS subject matter experts to ensure flawless technical execution and ensure that the product is meeting the company's commitments and achieving customer satisfaction.
This role will require partnering with the Customer and internal functional organizations; such as engineering, quality control, procurement, manufacturing, and administrative functions to achieve the required performance. This is a high visibility role that is critical to the success of the AAS Production Program.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Accountability for daily SIL production test operations, failure tracking and resolution and achieving SIL test duration allocation
Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts for ITT test failures
Interfacing with Operations and other IPTLs for hardware and support
Ensuring Configuration Control of ITT artifacts (hardware, test procedures, test software/tools, etc.)
Proactive test optimization and continuous improvement
Providing reports and status as required to program management, engineering, and the Customer
Providing technical leadership and collaborating with both internal and external ITT entities
Interfacing with program management and the Customer on technical issues
Ability to travel up to 20% to RTX, vendor, and/or customer sites
This job is posted as ONSITE, and is based at Raytheon's Forest, MS facility.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in Electrical, RF, or other related field
Experience with radar systems testing
Qualifications We Prefer:
Strong advocate for process improvement and ability to develop plans to demonstrate continuous improvement out-of-phase defects and reduction in product variability using statistical methodologies
Experience employing and executing the RCCA process to correct technical issues
Leadership skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams to foster improvements in established processes across all program areas to ensure predictable, quick reaction results.
Demonstrated concise communication skills, written and verbal
Proactive mentality to aggressively engage on issues and expedite resolution
High level of proficiency with MS Office and Project tools, comprehension of Manufacturing Requirements, Planning, CMES and PRISM
