Job Description

Working experience with large scale Hadoop environments build and support including design, configuration, installation, performance tuning and monitoring

Exposure to Hadoop Administration

Minimum of 4 years' experience with developing complex reports and dashboard applications in large, global organizations on a variety of BI platforms in Cognos.

Experience & awareness of nuances on Cognos reports Migration.

At least 4 years of experience in developing using J2EE technologies including Java, Spring, Hibernate, AngularJS.

Good knowledge of Hadoop.

At least 2 years' experience on Hands-on experience with the overall Hadoop eco-system (HDFS, Map Reduce, Pig/Hive, Hbase etc)

At least 4 years of experience in determining database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviewing objectives with clients; evaluating current systems;

Hands on experience on Mongo, Elastic Search and related technologies

Proficient in Java development environment and tools like Git, Eclipse, Jenkins

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 4 years of experience with Hadoop.

At least 4 years of experience with Cognos, and other BI reporting tools

Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with Cognos Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Cognos Connection
