Freelance Coding Instructor - Teach Python, Java, or C++ Remotely

Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking passionate and skilled Freelance Coding Instructors to teach Python, Java, or C++ to students and professionals across the globe. This is a fully remote opportunity, ideal for tech educators who enjoy the flexibility of freelance work and thrive on inspiring others to learn programming. You will deliver live virtual sessions, develop engaging content, and help learners master the fundamentals and advanced concepts in programming languages.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct live, interactive online coding classes in Python, Java, or C++

Design, prepare, and update curriculum and course materials

Customize teaching methods to suit diverse learner backgrounds and skill levels

Provide timely feedback, guidance, and support to students

Create hands on coding exercises, projects, and assessments

Track student progress and adjust instruction based on learning outcomes

Collaborate with the academic team to ensure consistent quality of instruction

Stay current with trends in programming, teaching tools, and industry demands

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Java, or C++

Strong command of data structures, algorithms, object oriented programming, and debugging

Prior teaching, training, or mentoring experience (formal or informal)

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to simplify complex technical concepts

Comfortable with using online teaching platforms such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams

Self motivated and dependable with excellent time management

Experience

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in software development or technical training

Prior experience in online instruction or e learning is highly preferred

Experience working with international or diverse student groups is a plus

Working Hours

Flexible scheduling based on availability and course demand

Sessions may be scheduled on weekdays, weekends, or evenings depending on learner needs

A typical instructor commitment ranges from 6 to 15 hours per week, but may vary
