"Candidate to function as our Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst. We are a community mental health center in western Kentucky serving children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our services cover supports for behavioral health, substance abuse and recovery, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and brain injuries. RiverValley Behavioral Health also offers an 80-bed private psychiatric hospital for children and adolescents. About Us: We currently host over 21 Kentucky based programs that include in-patient and out-patient services for those with mental health, developmental and intellectual disabilities (DD/ID), alcohol and drug addictions, prevention, recovery, and treatment. We care for children, adults, their families and their significant others as they go through often very difficult times. We have also been the honored recipient of the National Mental Health Corporations of America’s “Best Practices Award” for client satisfaction with the services they have received. We are CARF Accredited. CARF International accreditation demonstrates a program’s quality, transparency, and commitment to the satisfaction of the persons served. CARF International is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services. Job Description: Exciting and challenging opportunity in a community based program for individuals wanting to further their expertise in behavior analysis. This position will complete assessments, develop behavior support plans, analyze data, and write periodic reports for children and adults. Clients will be in need of interventions to manage behavior and/or advanced acceptable social and self-care skills. Established but growing program operated by LoneStar Solutions under consultation agreement with the renowned Cleveland Clinic Children's Autism Program and is the only approved Cleveland Clinic Autism Development Solutions operation in Texas. Services are provided at the Arlington, TX location, plus behavior consults in the area. Reports to BCBA. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Possess and maintain BCaBA designation through the national certification body. Experience working with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.
