Material Handler

Pay: minimum $22 an hour (Dependent on Experience)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am – 3:30pm

Job Summary

The Material Handler position focuses primarily on safe and efficient movement of products and materials though the entire manufacturing / production facility.

Responsibilities

Operate various vehicles for storage or removal of materials: SIT/STAND/REACH LIFTS – CHERRY PICKER AND PALLET JACK

Prepare products and materials for shipment and movement on floor.

Load, unload, stage products and materials.

Track and record units of materials handled.

Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Receiving experience; via computer input (not utilizing scan guns)

Qualifications

Experience: 5–10 years of previous experience.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Technical Skills:

Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, or business software systems).

Loading/Unloading/Maneuvering large skids/containers of banded sheet metal and/or copper bar stock

Forklift experience; sit-down, stand-up, cherry picker, reach

Pallet Jack experience

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Ability to stand, bend, squat, reach, pull, and push throughout the shift.

Reliable attendance and ability to meet physical demands of the position.

Other Requirements

Must have reliable transportation.

Must pass a drug screen and background check.
