Job Description Opportunity for Clinician Educator in Internal Medicine Become a vital member of our Internal Medicine Residency Program at Waterbury Hospital as a full-time Clinic/Ambulatory Faculty member.
We are looking for a dedicated physician who is enthusiastic about educating residents in an outpatient setting.
This role offers a distinctive chance to influence the next generation of internal medicine practitioners while nurturing a collaborative and supportive educational atmosphere.
Additionally, there are options for those interested in serving as an inpatient attending physician.
Oversee and instruct internal medicine residents in the outpatient clinic environment.
Deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient context.
Design and execute the curriculum for the ambulatory care segment of the residency program.
Engage in case-based discussions, grand rounds, and various educational initiatives.
Promote a positive learning atmosphere that encourages resident participation and professional development.
Work collaboratively with fellow faculty to enhance the overall residency experience.

Position Requirements MD or DO with a valid Connecticut State License.
Federal DEA/Narcotic Registration.
Completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency.
Board Certified or Board Eligible.
