Research Assistant, EXPLORE Lab

The Environmental Exposures and Pediatric, Perinatal, and Reproductive Health (EXPLORE) Lab in the School of Public and Planetary Health at the University of New England is hiring a motivated Research Assistant to work on studies of environmental chemical exposures and pregnancy outcomes.

The EXPLORE Lab seeks a driven research assistant to conduct activities supporting the lab's research program focused on environmental chemicals and pregnancy outcomes in a prospective epidemiologic study.

The Research Assistant will work closely with Dr.

Samantha Schildroth to conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and manuscript preparation, and will receive mentorship and career development opportunities.

BS in public health, epidemiology, biomedical sciences, environmental science, or a related field, with the following attributes and skills: * Strong interest in environmental exposures and human health * Knowledge of epidemiological principles * Proficiency with Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Careful attention to detail * Effective communication, public speaking, and writing skills * Excellent organizational skills and time management Preferred.
