Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA

Shift hours: Days 6:30am—14:45pm 7.5 hrs. (45-minute break)

Swing: 14:30-22:45pm 7.5 hrs. receive a 4.75% increase over basic salary

Graveyard: 22:30pm—6:45am 7.5 hours Receive a 7.5% increase over basic salary.

Weekends is an additional $1 per hour

Provide high-quality personal care to assisted living home residents in a warm, supportive, and caring manner.

Following the resident's Assisted Living Plan, this position assists residents with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and with transporting into and out of bed, wheelchairs, bathtubs, lifts, and using walkers and canes, etc.

This position is also part of a team providing programs that promote physical well-being and relationships by involving residents in activities where they engage in meaningful person-to-person social interchange with other residents, family, friends, and staff.

Equipment to be used; Arjo Lifts, wheelchairs, electric beds, Arjo tubs

Knowledge, skills and education and/or experience ; 6-months experience providing personal care. Eligibility for certification to practice as a CNA in the State of Alaska

Computer software to be used ; Microsoft Office suite and Netsmart MyUnity, app for Rythmos call light system
