Job Title: Forklift Operator (Sit-down Forklift)

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Location: Troy Rd. Groveport, OH 43125

Work Environment: Warehouse / Outdoor Yard

Job Summary

This role supports warehouse and pipe yard operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory handling, and customer-facing support. The position involves physical material handling, order staging, and organizing pipe inventory in both indoor and outdoor environments. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable performing hands-on tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare customer orders for shipment

• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming materials

• Load and unload pipe deliveries and organize yard inventory

• Stage materials for customer pickup and delivery

• Operate sit-down forklift for material movement

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard

• Provide face-to-face customer service as needed

• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Minimum 6 months of recent warehouse experience required

• Minimum 1 month of recent sit-down forklift experience required

• Ability to read and understand work orders and shipping documents

• Stable work history with no more than 3 months gap

• Background in shipping, receiving, and inventory preferred

• Product knowledge or ability to quickly learn materials

• Combilift experience is a strong plus

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs continuously

• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, twisting, pulling, and standing for a full shift
