Description:

Manager, Supply Chain Transformation

Babylist is the leading registry, e-commerce, and content platform for growing families. More than 9 million people shop with Babylist every year, making it the go-to destination for seamless purchasing, trusted guidance, and expert product recommendations for new parents and the people who love them. What began as a universal registry has grown into a full ecosystem for new parents, including the Babylist Shop, Babylist Health, and a flagship showroom in Los Angeles. Hundreds of brands in baby and beyond partner with Babylist to engage meaningfully with families during one of life's most important transitions. With over $1 billion in annual GMV, and more than $500 million in 2024 revenue, Babylist is reshaping the $320 billion baby product industry. We're helping parents feel confident, connected, and cared for at every step. As we build the generational brand in baby, our mission remains simple: to connect growing families with everything they need to thrive.

Babylist is remote-first with team members across the U.S. and Canada who move fast, think smart, and use AI as part of how they work every day — not as an experiment, as an expectation. We come together twice a year to build the relationships behind the work, and we hire people who are genuinely excited about what's possible and prove it through how they show up.

This role is hybrid with approximately 50% travel to our Columbus, OH fulfillment center and, over time, to future sites that may be West Coast based. Open nationwide, with Midwest and East Coast locations preferred for easier travel.

As a Manager, Supply Chain Transformation, you'll own the work of making sure Babylist's fulfillment network scales ahead of the business. Sitting within the Supply Chain organization, this role is responsible for identifying where operations break under growth and rebuilding those systems so they hold at higher volume. You'll start with our Columbus fulfillment center and expand your scope as we add new nodes, shaping how the network performs as it grows.

The day-to-day is a mix of floor-level diagnosis and cross-functional program ownership. Some weeks you're on-site in Columbus, walking the floor to understand where picks stall, labor misallocates, or inventory flow breaks down. Other weeks you're leading the work to redesign those processes—partnering with product and engineering to define system requirements and ensure changes land in a way that sticks. You'll split your time between hands-on operational work and driving execution across teams, with about 50% travel to current and future sites.

This is not a pure strategy or coordination role. If you prefer to operate at a distance from execution or rely on others to surface problems, this will feel uncomfortable. If 50% travel to the Midwest isn't sustainable, this role won't work. If you're looking for a clearly defined roadmap or a narrower scope, this will be a stretch. You're expected to define priorities and build the path forward.

You Are

5+ years in warehouse operations, transportation, or supply chain process improvement within high-volume DTC e-commerce environments (non-negotiable; pure consulting, corporate strategy, or 3PL-only backgrounds are not a fit)

Experience translating operational process design into system requirements and partnering with product and engineering to implement them in WMS, OMS, or similar systems

Track record of owning cross-functional programs in fulfillment or logistics environments with accountability for outcomes, not just coordination

Hands-on experience in warehouse environments, able to independently diagnose breakdowns in picking, packing, or labor flow using data and direct observation

Advanced Excel skills and 3+ years building dashboards or analysis in tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma

Comfort operating in high-growth, ambiguous environments where you define priorities and create structure from scratch

You use AI actively in your work. When you see a manual analysis or a repetitive documentation task, you reach for AI to accelerate it.

How You Will Make An Impact

Build and run the program structure that drives fulfillment network transformation, including milestones, dependencies, and accountability across operations, product, and engineering

Diagnose breakdowns in day-to-day warehouse workflows and implement fixes that improve throughput, labor efficiency, and reliability

Translate redesigned operational processes into clear system requirements that enable scalable solutions within warehouse and order management systems

Lead implementation of new workflows and tools through to full adoption on the warehouse floor, ensuring changes persist beyond rollout

Create visibility into operational performance by developing reporting and dashboards that highlight bottlenecks and inform prioritization

Design operating models and processes that support future network expansion without requiring constant rework or re-platforming

Develop playbooks and documentation that enable warehouse teams to sustain and extend improvements independently

Partner with warehouse leadership to ensure all transformation work reflects real operational constraints and delivers durable results
