The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization, Intelligence Systems portfolio, is seeking a DevOps Developer to join our Mission Operations team in Herndon, VA. Our team focuses on delivering complex solutions in some of the most challenging environments on Earth. We provide support for our Mission Operations Portfolio area which design, build, test, deploy, operate, and maintain a wide variety of mission critical platforms and systems for

commercial and government customers.

This Data Scientist position performs data analytics development and data visualization to meet business requirements and provide data to the engineering teams to decrease risk and ensure engineering excellence.

Developing data analytics capabilities in Python to solve business problems

Developing automated processes/scripts to capture and analyze data to track Key Performance Indicators across a large-scale distributed system

Assisting with system designs to enable data science capabilities

Assisting with maintaining data quality

Analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and suggesting optimizations to improve overall system efficiency and responsiveness

Maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

Participating in the planning and implementation of new systems, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring compatibility and adherence to best

practices

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.). Required Qualifications:

Requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (Has been active in the past 24 months)

U.S. Citizenship

3 or more years' experience in Data Science

Experience developing data analytics with Python

Experience with common data analysis and data visualization Desired Qualifications:

Experience with common Python packages used for data science

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP

Certifications in Data Science and/or Data Visualization

Telework/Remote Availability: Telework/Remote work currently not authorized

Summary Pay Range:

Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

$231,000 - $283,000
