Oracle Apps DBA (Infogix)

Our client is currently seeking a Oracle Apps DBA (Infogix)

An Infogix Oracle Application DBA (now often under Precisely) manages the database infrastructure, installation, and performance of Infogix data integrity controls. They specialize in Oracle DB, ensuring high availability, performing patches, and conducting SQL tuning to support data balancing, controls, and compliance monitoring.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and upgrade Infogix application servers and supporting Oracle databases.

Database Administration: Perform database patches, data migrations, schema updates, and user maintenance.

Performance Tuning: Monitor system performance, optimize SQL statements, and manage table spaces and indexes.

Backup & Security: Manage backup/recovery procedures, often utilizing Oracle RMAN, and ensure data integrity.

Application Support: Work directly with application teams to design controls for data flowing between systems, often supporting SOX/MAR audit requirements. Qualifications & Requirements:

Oracle Apps DBA/DBA: Strong expertise in Oracle databases and applications.

SQL/PL/SQL: Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

Infrastructure Skills: Familiarity with OS upgrades and data center migrations.

Control Implementation: Experience implementing data controls, monitoring, and compliance measures.
