Drafting Technician

Summary

The Drafting Technician performs a variety of design/drafting activities. Those activities include but are not limited to creating and updating drawings from architectural and designer drawings and renderings. Working within established guidelines and procedures of the Technical Services Department. Drafting duties will be done utilizing our AutoCAD system. Other duties as assigned.

Duties:

1. Prepare dimensional drawings and installation drawings.

2. Revise and update drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with Project managers.

3. Works with Technical Services Team to ensure that drawings meet or exceed internal and external customer expectations.

4. Maintain notes, and other documentation (like drawings, BOM’s, design parameters) for future reference.

5. Must be able to pay close attention to detail.

6. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.

7. This is a Non-remote position.

Education and Experience:

1. Associates degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field.

2. Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience utilizing AutoCAD.

3. Knowledge of standard drafting practices and procedures.

4. Inventor, Cabinet Vision or any 3D CAD is a plus.
