As an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Finance function supporting the Spine division in Canada, you'll play an important behind-the-scenes role in keeping financial operations running smoothly - processing invoices, managing payments, resolving discrepancies, and supporting accurate and timely vendor transactions.

What You'll Do:

Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

Prepare and execute payment runs according to company policies and procedures

Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts

Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries

Communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations

Perform basic analyses and reconciliations of payables activity to identify and correct errors

Ensure compliance with internal controls and transaction verification procedures

Support occasional billing activities and respond to related inquiries

Keep financial records organized, accurate, and up to date

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR High School diploma with 2+ years of relevant Accounts Payable experience

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Clear verbal and written communication skills with a professional approach to vendor interactions

Comfort working independently while taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting/ERP systems is a plus

Compensation:

Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and local market conditions.
