Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Security Engineer-related occupation.

Position requires 2 years of experience in the following:

Performing security design reviews or conducting security assessments

Threat modeling for system security

Coding in general-purpose programming languages

Performing security-focused code reviews

Software Development including dependency management and CI/CD pipelines

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000 - $211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities and respond to active threats in the environment

Design, implement, and maintain robust security controls, tools, and services to mitigate risks

Operate information security systems and execute established procedures to ensure ongoing protection

Develop new features and bug fixes for existing security tools and products to enhance functionality

Lead short-term, complex operational tasks independently, escalating critical issues when necessary. Improve security outcomes by proactively identifying and implementing enhancements to tools and processes
