Hiring: Product Design Engineer

Location: Mustang, OK

Salary: $100,000 – $130,000/yr

Schedule: Full-time

Central Texas Recruiting is seeking a Product Design Engineer to support full-cycle product development within a manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in designing, developing, and launching manufacturable products from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities

Lead projects through the full product development lifecycle

Develop engineering models, drawings, and specifications

Create and maintain assemblies and Bills of Materials

Apply engineering principles including tolerancing and FEA

Support prototyping, testing, and production release activities

Source and evaluate components for manufacturing needs

Assist with technical documentation and product launch support

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

5+ years of SolidWorks experience including 3D modeling and assemblies

5+ years of mechanical design and product development experience

Experience designing injection-molded and fabricated components

Experience owning product design from concept through production

Strong understanding of manufacturable design principles and FEA
