Job Title: Spanish AI Data Trainer

Location: RemoteRole Overview

This is a remote, hourly-paid contractor role focused on enhancing the safety, accuracy, and reasoning quality of advanced AI systems. You will review AI-generated content, evaluate step-by-step reasoning, and provide expert feedback to ensure outputs are logically sound, clearly explained, and aligned with safety policies.

Working across Spanish and English, you will apply nuanced linguistic, cultural, and policy judgment. Your work will directly support leading AI organizations in improving the safety and alignment of large-scale language models.

This role may involve exposure to sensitive material, including content that is sexual, violent, or psychologically disturbing.Key Responsibilities

Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, clarity, reasoning quality, and safety compliance

Identify logical, methodological, or conceptual errors in model outputs

Compare and rate multiple responses based on correctness, safety alignment, and policy adherence

Perform fact-checking and validation where required

Conduct red-teaming and adversarial testing to identify vulnerabilities, edge cases, and unsafe behaviors

Document decisions with clear, structured reasoning and reproducible evaluation paths

Apply and localize safety policies consistently across Spanish and English, identifying slang, cultural nuance, and coded language

Escalate ambiguous cases using defined policy frameworksRequired Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher in Linguistics, Communications, Psychology, Law, Policy, Security Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Native or near-native Spanish proficiency (reading and writing)

Minimum C1 English proficiency (reading and writing)

5+ years of experience in Trust Safety, content moderation, policy operations, compliance, investigations, or related fields

Proven LLM red-teaming / adversarial testing experience (required)

Strong ability to preserve meaning, intent, and severity across languages

Excellent analytical writing and structured reasoning skills

High attention to detail and consistency in applying safety policies

Ability to work independently in a remote contractor environment

Secure handling of sensitive and confidential informationPreferred Qualifications

Experience in AI data annotation, model evaluation, or localization/translation

Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar AI platforms

Experience working with structured safety taxonomies or policy frameworks

Background in investigative, editorial, or analytical roles
