JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counseling, skills development and product knowledge development.

- Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where service can flourish.

- Responsible for the planning, monitoring, recruitment, direction, training, organization and control of sales account managers to accomplish specific objectives. Following up work results.

- Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual/quarterly/monthly sales quotas; projecting expected Sales Revenue and Gross Profit of the products.

- Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings sales, sales newsletters and electronic bulletins.

- Plan and implement a specific appraisal system that describes the responsibilities and performance standards for each member of the sales team, set individual territory sales and commission targets and administer the commission plan.

BACKGROUND:

- Preferably 3 to 5 years of managerial experience in Sales, Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent.

- Account management experience in selling technology to corporations.

- Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with decision-makers.

- Proven successful track record in achieving and exceeding sales/prospecting quotas on a regular basis.

- Ability to communicate to peers and management clearly and in a timely manner on sales activities.

- Exemplary high standards of customer service, honesty, integrity and endeavor.

- Ability to use initiative in identifying, addressing and resolving day to day issues and challenges.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Meeting sales goals, negotiation, selling to customer needs, motivation for sales, sales planning, building relationships, coaching, managing processes, market knowledge, developing budgets, staffing, knowledge in IT infrastructure and installation.
