Our Cooks are a vital part of the ski resort kitchen, delivering quality meals to guests and teams in a fast paced, high energy alpine environment. From early mornings to peak service periods, this role is perfect for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in their craft, and enjoys being part of a close knit seasonal team
What You'll Do
Prepare and cook menu items to recipe, quality, and presentation standards
Support high volume service during peak breakfast, lunch, and après periods
Maintain clean and safe food preparation areas, equipment, and appliances
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock deliveries
Work collaboratively with Kitchen Hands, Chefs, and front of house teams
Complete end of shift cleaning and closing procedures
What You'll Bring
Required - Food Safety Certificate (completed in the last two years) - For the state you will be working in - See - Do Food Safely (VIC Resorts) or Do Food Safely (NSW Resorts)
Proven experience as a Cook in a commercial kitchen environment
The ability to thrive in a busy, fast paced resort or hospitality setting
Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask under pressure
Clear communication skills and a positive, team first attitude
A commitment to food safety, hygiene, and safe work practices
Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and peak season periods
