Administrative Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support an engineering team at a well-established organization. This role is ideal for an administrative professional who enjoys working in a technical environment, supporting multiple stakeholders, and keeping projects, documentation, and day-to-day operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable coordinating across engineering, operations, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the engineering team, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.

Prepare, edit, and format reports, presentations, specifications, and other engineering-related documentation.

Maintain organized filing systems for engineering documents, drawings, project records, and compliance materials.

Assist with project coordination by tracking schedules, action items, and deliverables.

Serve as a point of contact between engineering, internal departments, vendors, and contractors.

Support procurement-related administrative tasks, including purchase orders, invoice tracking, and vendor documentation.

Coordinate onboarding and training logistics for new engineering team members.

Manage office supplies, equipment requests, and general departmental needs.

Assist with data entry and reporting for project metrics, budgets, or engineering KPIs.

Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably supporting engineering, technical, or operations teams.

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience working with technical documents, drawings, or project files is a plus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently while effectively supporting a team-based environment.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Familiarity with ERP systems or document management systems is a plus.

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 based on experience

Hours: Monday through Friday
