Position Summary:

Under the direction of a library staff member, student project assistants perform work on library projects and help accomplish the goals of the project.

Student project assistants will be asked to perform a range of duties including but not limited to: provide access to library records, i.e. edit, create and load records; data entry; process library materials; scan and digitize library materials; other duties as assigned.

The position is open to undergraduate students only. Only McGill students eligible to Work Study Subsidies will be considered. Please include the confirmation of eligibility when applying. Only complete application will forwarded to the selection committee

Reports to:

Repository Supervisor (Jennifer Innes)

Hours of work:

Up to 20hours per week. Hours of work will be established by the supervisor and there is no guarantee of a pre-determined schedule, or a minimum number of hours of work.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

Training and orientation will be provided.

High School Diploma

Hourly Salary:

(Amuse A) $16.70
