Job Title: Safety Coordinator- Full Time Permanent Location : Columbus, OH A Safety Coordinator supports workplace safety on construction sites.
They conduct safety inspections, train employees, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with safety regulations like OSHA.
They also help enforce safety policies and maintain documentation.
Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable) OSHA 30 Certification 3+ years in construction safety OR Bachelor’s in Occupational Safety/Health Safety audits & inspections Incident investigation (including OSHA cases) Safety training / orientations Basic MS Office (Excel, Word) Strong communication skills Valid Driver’s License Physically able (climbing, lifting, confined spaces) Preferred Skills (Good to Have) Bachelor’s Degree (if not already required) Experience handling disciplinary actions for safety violations Strong documentation & reporting skills Experience working directly with safety leadership/Director High attention to detail & organization
