Full Stack Engineer

Overview

Influential's engineering team is defining the future of the creator economy by building the foundation on how influencers, brands and their audience interact and transact. Our team is seeking creative thinkers with experience solving difficult problems to help us develop solutions that will continue to support Influential's leadership position in the industry.

As a key member of the engineering team your focus will be on building scalable solutions in collaboration with internal team members and key external strategic partners. Our technology partners are the world's leading players connecting people, communities and businesses around the world.

Your work will focus on expanding the functionality and capabilities of our core platforms through innovative solutions. You'll have the opportunity to create first-of-their-kind solutions and solve unique technology challenges in a high-growth industry.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain web applications across the stack using TypeScript, including backend gRPC microservices, and frontend React clients

Implement and maintain middle tier services in GoLang

Optimize and scale database structures to ensure fast, reliable data processing for affiliate performance tracking

Work with the Product team and leadership to understand roadmap priorities, provide guidance on the best technical solution for initiatives and optimal team resources

Collaborate with remote team members to produce loosely coupled, highly maintainable code

Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, iterate functionality, and contribute to the overall success of the product

Plan, estimate, and prioritize work in a remote, distributed team environment

Support production issues as needed to meet client SLAs

Participate in scrum development with bi-weekly release schedules

Stay up to date with compliance and regulations related to affiliate marketing (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) to ensure data privacy and security

Qualifications

Required

8+ years of experience in full stack web development

Expert with Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript

Proficient with React, StoryBook, CSS/SASS

Proficient with in-memory data-stores (Redis, Memcached)

Strong experience with relational databases and data processing frameworks (MariaDB/MySQL/Postgres preferred)

Experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, and microservice architectures

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Hands-on experience with AWS and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Preferred

Proficiency with GoLang

Experience with GraphQL

Familiarity with Agentic AI workflows, LLMs, Figma

Experience building Python services (Flask, FastAPI)

Experience with pub-sub and queue-based messaging systems (Kafka, Redis)

Experience with AI coding tools and incorporate QA automation into the development

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $130,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
