By moving to a Cloud environment, you would be assisting the goal to maximize community and commercial clouds on all three domains for agility, innovation, integrated intelligence, enhanced security and resource efficiency. Additionally, you will be eliminating duplicate services while leveraging cloud advantages such as managed services, metered software, pay for resource use and scalable, and elastic resources. What You Will Do:

Actively participate in all aspects of the release planning cycle activities

Design, code, and implement components of the overall system

Work with the product owner(s) and other team members to gather and refine requirements

Work with other scrum teams to ensure 100% integration

What We Need From You:

Bachelor of Science or greater degree in CS, CE, Engineering, EE, Physics, or Math

Expert software development skills (in order of importance: Java, JavaScript, Python, C++)

5 + years of experience delivering and maintaining commercial software in a production environment; familiarity with agile methodologies, software development and release life cycles, source control and change management. More senior candidates highly encouraged to apply.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, across the team, skill sets, and company to drive features to completion

Desired Skills:

AWS and DevOps skills/experience are a plus

Familiarity with geospatial data processing tools and services such as GDAL, MapBox, GeoServer, and TileServerGL

Familiarity with open source
