Job Description: We have a requirement for a Strong Cloud DBA with 5+ years' experience working as a Spanner/MongoDB/Postgres/MySQL/Cassandra Database Administrator, including experience at the design, operational, and system levels.

Required Skills

Experience with database administration including performance tuning.

Design and implementation of disaster recovery to meet defined business objectives.

Implementation and support of high availability features including clustering and replication.

Experience tuning complex database systems for production systems at the application, database, and system levels.

Job Duties

Candidate will work as Spanner/MongoDB/Postgres/MySQL/Cassandra Database Administrator, including experience at the design, operational, and system levels.

Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Kubernetes, and Jenkins for managing cloud infrastructure.

Experience with database backup and recovery processes.

Skills in monitoring database performance and implementing optimization strategies.

Job Requirements

Candidate needs to be located near Dallas, TX or Scottsdale, AZ.

Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is crucial.

Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle).

Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
